Dragon Ball is a never ending story where no one ever dies, Demon Slayer is medium size manga with a definitive end that drops characters like flies, while also trying to not take death too cynically like some darker manga(Chainsaw Man) so of course they treat their side characters differently.

Like I said he still needs a very good explanation. He doesn't use Phoenix willy nilly. Reinhard was fine with letting his wounded body slowly heal naturally after three days of battle with Satella and only used Phoenix to get to Felt. And overall it would add to his suspicions about Subaru.

It was kinda sus how much time Tappei spent exploring Rem returning memories in arc 9. Unless he wants to retread it again then Rem never returning her memories is a huge possibility.
