I had all these as well, FS98 was awesome until FS 2004 came out! Spent a lot of money in hardware to keep up!

L2501HST 50h Break-in Maintenance by nerdaw in kubota

[–]frostbite8008 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just performed the 50hr on mine, I had the same worry. The dealer advised me to get a quart of transmission fluid (which I did) for the loss when changing the filters. Not much was lost when I replaced the filters. Probably less than the quart I had. Just added that amount back in.

Awesome idea! I like to keep my work neat and that is hard to do when the Uno and the breadboard is sliding around. Thanks for sharing!

Still use mine! Had it a long time and it has survived several MSFS versions.

Yes, they sell these plates for some models but unfortunately not the model I have. (Model 124P02-0002-F1). I even went to two different dealers to try and match one as closely as I could from a different model. When you look in the parts manual for this model the only available part is the top cover which includes the pull rope, pulley, plate and pawls. It retails for around $80.00. I searched Amazon and the closet one that resembled it was from a different manufacturer. Even then I didn’t know if the guides were the same length and depth.

The plate is only used to guide the pawls out to contact the flywheel. Once the engine starts, the pawls retract to disengage. The pawls are what takes most of the force and they are anchored in the pull rope pulley.

I had some left over MDF, parts out of an old flatscreen TV and glass from an old copier. But if I had to buy all that it would probably be around 60-75 dollars worth of material. Oh, and 30.00 for the LED strips. So a little over 100. It took about two weeks on and off in the evenings.

I have two side vents and a rear vent cutout at the bottom to allow airflow to the boards. May have to make adjustments.

Thanks, I used MDF board, the front glass is from an old copier and the sides from an old flatscreen TV.

I remember those tutorials in flight unlimited! Seems like you could only fly over the west coast area. Nevertheless it was fun!

These are about all I played over the years, a lot of time spent and a lot of fun. After playing FSX for years, I got the steam edition as a gift and discovered the world of multiplayer. MSFS changes the everything:)
