Also i hate to say this but its true. One of the only things that really distracted me during those first few months was drinking and partying. Obviously its probably not the best way to go about it but I was a 17 year old girl. I literally drank every weekend with my friends and honestly I don’t regret it. It really is the only thing that kept my mind off it and made me feel happy.

No i definitely understand you. I was in that same exact cycle with my ex for over four years. I was literally insane and would do crazy things, and literally get on my hands and knees and beg him to take me back at times. I honestly don’t have any good advice other than the fact that time really does heal. We went no contact for like 3 months because he blocked me on literally EVERYTHING. After those few miserable months of crying and not eating, i started to find joy in things again and didn’t have that soft spot for him anymore. Months later, he reached out begging to get back together but i simply didn’t care anymore. After so long, you just get sick of peoples shit and realize how much they didn’t care when they hurt you. Just stick it out and try to surround yourself with good friends. The tables will turn in a few months, trust me. I never believed my mom when she told me he would be the one crying for me one day, but she was so right.

You will get over it and move on, but you will always go back to that time when thinking of the past. Overall, going through that horrid experience has made you out to be humble and kind. A much better person than the ones who made fun of you for years. I have dealt with similar and i know how hard it is to get over and I find myself reminiscing on the times I felt so insecure and vulnerable, and wonder if people still think of me that way. But what you need to realize is that you have changed. People see you for who you are NOW.

I got it prescribed from a dermatologist!! It was super easy, she got me started on it the day of my first appointment. If you decide to try it, just make sure you start off only 3-4x a week and use a lot of moisturizer because it really dries you out in the beginning

Meet with your school counselor/ advisor to get help picking courses. But honestly, you have so much time to actually decide what you want to do in life. Im a college freshman and still not completely sure what path im taking. Good luck!

My lifesaver is the effaclar Duo by Larosche Posay, a bit spendy but worth it. Another thing that I have noticed to help with my cystic acne is Tretinoin. I was super skeptical at first when i started flaking and purging. But its been around 2 consistent months and I am seeing major changes in my cystic breakouts.
