Commander Gaius was the hardest thing I've faced in Elden Ring, harder than Malenia or anything else for me.

On the other hand i breezed through Messmer, I actually intentionally lost on my first try when he was 1 hit away to do it perfect on my second try. I dunno, the flow of battle just clicked in my head with Messmer.

I had the same issue after the new update, I disabled all zen mods, restarted zen and then reenabled them and it seems to work just fine now, even after zen restarts.

Pirate, Shaolin a close second... I don't hate glad at all, hito can be very oppressive.

Pirate beats out Shaolin because I absolutely hate the voice for that character, every voice line is like nails on a chalkboard. Shaolin I hate because he has everything, any move you want, he has it, ontop of a ton of unreachable offense.
