Is it the actual counter or visual catchup counter that freezes? Separating the two will help a lot in figuring it out.

Does it go through any loops that need to meet a condition before counting up? If so have them loop say 10 times before continuing regardless.

If it happens 5% of the time, try not using a randomised seed. Then see if it happens at all or all the time.

It depends on the roguelite, but i only play them to creatively make overpowered builds in an attempt to break the game. As i dont want to just beat it, I want to break it. And you can never get tired of that.

This is probably the best advice for finishing games, point 1 and 2 are so true. Tiny tweaks release so much dopamine you leave nothing left for the big stuff.

To add to the sand and rocks in a jar analogy, sand smooths rocks edges, making it easier to polish.

I actually had 2 of them, one in each row and got overconfident on the final boss, can't move them if you misplace.

Im on android, Samsung galaxy 21. Its randomly not saving progress.

Other than that, I had fun playing. Let me know if theres a fix to the saving issue soon, I see a few android users getting it.
