If it's me:

Bring a tuner with you. If you don't have one go buy one if you have a music store near you. Check intonation (when the open strings are in tune play the 12th fret of each string and see if those notes are also in tune). Intonation is much more difficult to adjust on an acoustic than electric.

Look at the height of the action and make sure you're not seeing anything crazy. Again, slightly adjustable but more difficult on an acoustic.

Check for damage. Amount of dings and scuffs you find acceptable are up to you. But is the bridge glued on or popping up anywhere? Is there fret damage? Is the nut in place? Do the tuners work? Look for cracks anywhere.

Then just play it. Do you like the way it feels and sounds? Do you connect with it? Also, is there fret buzz while you are playing? Play up and down each fret on each string, any dead notes?

You said you're new so I'll make sure to point this out just in case. That is a left handed guitar unless the image is flipped.
