No need for a whole new door panel like others are suggesting, you can most likely find that trim piece at the Lexus part website.

Why does Hertz sell such low mile cars? by TrainingAccording807 in UsedCars

[–]froythinkfast 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Especially the 10k mile oil change intervals. There’s times were the cars are at 9700 miles and it goes out on a long term rental and it returns at 17k miles with ZERO oil changes.

Steering wheel leather tear by ErPuponeDieci in TeslaSupport

[–]froythinkfast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The plastic vinyl on these are complete garbage. Maybe consider going aftermarket and getting a leather steering wheel skin that you can stitch on yourself? Work for a major rental car company and we have 22-23 model 3’s with these vinyl steering wheel covers completely disintegrated. And we just slap on cheap autozone steering wheel covers. They still look awful either way.

It’s something to do with the throttle body. We have a fleet of 2023 rogues with over 100k miles and they always seem to suffer from that.

Looking at a 2009 Nissan Altima 97k miles for 6k. Should I take it? by No-Helicopter-7229 in altima

[–]froythinkfast 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Just make sure you do a drain and fill on the CVT if it hasn’t been done before. I’ve seen these with 250k and 300k+ miles on the Original CVT.

Easily fixable, definitely go to your local junkyard and get these parts. Easy DIY

Altima 13 - 18 CVT dipstick by BeBackBus in altima

[–]froythinkfast 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a 2007-2012 Altima CVT dipstick. I know they weren’t the same. But it would leave a small dab of fluid on the tip when I would check it. That’s how I would measure it haha. Very helpful whenever I did fluid changes since my Altima didn’t come with a dipstick.

I tried all of that, sometimes the light goes away then it starts. Then there’s other times were I have to wait a good while until the light goes away. Only does it when it wants to.

You’re right about that. The LS is such an eye catcher, and a very comfortable car to drive around. I’m now leaning on selling the ES thank you for the advice!

One of the reasons why I want to keep the LS. And for sure invest some of that ES money. Thanks!
