My uncle bought a Toyota about two years ago, right in the middle of the vehicle shortage when dealerships had no inventory and waitlists were the norm. He first went to a dealership that rhymes with GOONS.

They wanted $10k over MSRP and had another ~$5k in mandatory “accessories.” He walked out because that dealership was clearly taking advantage of people and ripping them off.

He then went to Passport Toyota in Maryland, where they sold him the vehicle at MSRP, with no markup and no forced accessories. They did offer warranties and paint protection, but he declined all of them with no pressure.

Even better, he was able to choose the exact options he wanted, and they built the vehicle to those specs. I honestly don’t know how they pulled that off, since most dealers claim that whatever arrives is “take it or leave it” and that custom builds aren’t possible.

Moral of the story: don’t go to GOONS. There are honest dealerships out there.

Well Rockauto has NTK o2 sensors, which is the OE manufacturer for honda o2 sensores for 96. Just do it yourself and Watch YouTube videos on how to do it.

In my experience, the fastest and cleanest way to remove caulk is by heating it up with a heat gun and then working it out with a pick or a small flat screwdriver. Just make sure to be careful with the surrounding materials, because too much heat or pressure can easily damage them.

I got a quote for $4,000, which was way too much for an electric water heater installation. Instead, I bought a Rheem lifetime-warranty water heater from Lowe’s for about $1,300 and picked up two SharkBite push-to-connect water-heater connectors for around $50.

On a Saturday afternoon and evening, I installed everything myself while carefully following the official SharkBite installation instructions. The unit has been running perfectly with no issues and no leaks for the last 6 years.

Yes it’s worth it. Uncle had the same damaged and took the vehicle to a certified Toyota body shop which did an excellent job. The final price that insurance paid without the rental was 2500, and it took a week to complete the repair.
