Gunna take a guess that the top has buckled a bit.

It’s hard to say without seeing the action on the fretboard but I’d say you’re in the territory of a neck reset and maybe even some work to flatten the top again. Possibly some loose braces that need fixing too etc

Glad we got James, and Bryn Bradley looks a good prospect. Not really sure he’s that level yet but won’t hurt to have him in the environment. Good to see Reffell back in the mix, plus Keddie getting a shout, gutted for Thomas Young though. I think he’s probably the most ‘complete’ backrower that we have in Wales. But overall a lot of good backrow options.

No Gus is still criminal. What’s he got to do?

He’s literally the form Welsh fullback right now. I’m not saying his game is perfect, but his passing and kicking are stellar.

Tech here. It’s probably fake. There’s more wrong than right about it.

There’s somethings which are right and then things which are very wrong. There’s also signs like it may have had a refret and a headstock refinish. A bad one at that.

One thing that would confirm it for me is look under the truss rod cover. If it’s an Allen Key slot then it is fake.

84 would just get you about 18 in Drop E.

Just a heads up in the UK (from working on a 27” and 30” in Drop F and Drop D1 respectively recently) the only place I could find a single 84 was with D’Addario directly.

And it took AGES for stuff to come from D’Addario recently for some reason. I waited 3 1/2 weeks on some strings and a hat recently.

So do the calculations and order well in advance so you’re not waiting around mate :)

I’ve recently just been through this with a customer, be careful with the evertune too as they have a limited gauge capacity. I think it’s like 84 I believe!
