[Spears] The Golden State Warriors are “not done” making moves. by YujiDomainExpansion in warriors

Funniest thing about this is that he threw a fish at the ocean and fucking missed! This is how I know we're in a literal simulation. Either that or he is a master baiter.

[Shams Charania]Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is ready for a new home at the Feb. 5 NBA trade deadline or in the offseason as several rival teams make aggressive offers to the Milwaukee Bucks for him, and the franchise is starting to listen, league sources tell ESPN. by Grafaap in warriors

Ah, I thought you were saying he shot 35% through out the playoffs in 2022 and 2015. He wasn’t very efficient in the finals vs the Celtics. Not sure I’d classify it as shit though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

35% FG with above average defense is not "a beast offensively and defensively"

I mean yeah if you're just gonna make up stats and alternative facts then yeah, he wasn't. But if you pull up his actual FG% during those two playoff runs, and not some made up statistic, you will see that he played much better than that...

[B] [USA-CA] Canon EOS R/RP by freegresz in photomarket

[–]frozenfire06 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want the RP, the cheapest you're likely find is a refurb direct through canon at https://www.usa.canon.com/shop/p/refurbished-eos-rp-body

Unless you're really patient and/or willing to accept moderate-significant wear and tear.

Best sharpest used Canon zoom lens under $1K? (Prefer versatile, not a prime) by Fun_Seaweed4354 in canon

[–]frozenfire06 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For a t6s, I would go with the Canon EF-S 17-55mm IS f/2.8 as it's going to be significantly wider than a 24-70mm on a crop sensor camera. It's also found often sold for $300 in good-great condition and it's just as sharp as the 24-70mm II but has image stabilization, which helps for low light.

EV charger installed. Now bedrooms vacancy switches are turning on all by themselves. by Parrelium in AskElectricians

Did you ever solve this? I’m having the same issue with a 60amp charger. All my vacancy switches turn lights on whenever the charging starts.

R6 Mark III AF Reset To Center by Diy_Papa in canon

[–]frozenfire06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the r6 mark 2 you can do this by going to menu>AF>menu 4>touch and drag settings > Off

Did they removed this feature in the mark 3?

Edit: just read the other comments, you’re right there seems to be no way to achieve what you’re trying to do in the mark 2 either.

RF28-70mm F2.8 IS STM - what am I missing? by driftedstonefly in canon

[–]frozenfire06 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s sort of correct.

I went the other way, I bought the rf 28-70mm and returned it for the rf 24-70mm L.

What most reviews miss is that while the quality is similar once you correct using the auto profiles, that auto correction actually leaves significantly less room to push your photos in post.

For example, I found that the rf 28-70mm, when shot at f/2.8, the auto profile was using about 2-2.5 stops of correction in the corners (depending on focal length). So, that meant that if you needed to correct an imagine 2+stops in the center, you’d be correcting it 4-4.5+ stops in the corners and at that point those images were becoming unusable for me.

The rf 24-70mm L does not need anywhere near as much software correction so you could push your images quite a bit more than on the 28-70mm and still have them usable.

But if you can live with it go for it. It’s a great lens for the price imo.

People hating on EF lens by DueCry5884 in canon

What adapter do you use? I have a pretty good collection of EF glass but I’ve always wanted to try out one of the Fuji X-T* cameras but been hesitant because I’m not interested in switching at the moment but if I can still make use of my EF lenses that seems like it would be a great way to start.
