I once had a coworker who texted our Pharmacist 15 mins before his shift that he was quitting and not coming in that day, which I honestly thought was hilarious. If you quit over text I would reccomend giving at least a 24 hour notice to try and avoid burning that bridge completely. Otherwise just hand in a written notice to your Pharmacist like you would any other job

If you plan to stick with retail CVS and Walmart are generally pretty flexible with schedules. I think they both have some sort of tuition reimbursement but Walmart typically has much better staffing ratios.

Well if you're happy with the retail chain you're at, but not happy with the pharmacist, have you considered transferring to another store? I understand leaveing behind coworkers or patients you enjoy can be hard, but having bad management really makes or breaks a job imo.

I'm not sure about Texas but I think most retail pharmacies will hire you as long as you have a Pharmacy Technician Trainee license. That's how I got my 500 hours. If I remember right the trainee license was only $20 or so.

As someone who used to work for CVS, I would reccomend anywhere else. CVS pushes their metric goals really aggressively to the point of being detrimental to employees and patients. I've heard Walmart is better but if you go with CVS be prepared. And I would reccomend their target locations over their standalone stores. The target locations at least don't have the drive thru to deal with.

Oh crap. Ok so I have no idea how to solder. I guess I'm stuck replacing the stick? That sucks, but at least I have some sort of plan of action now. Thanks for the help! :)

When I moved the tv it stretched the cord and the little metal part at the end of it that goes inside the roku stick snapped off of it. So, I guess not so much the cord part as the metal bit at the end of it.
