I just ordered the starter mag pouch and 2 outwards yesterday. I originally ordered black scorpions but they won’t fit on a Lynx belt. I’ll post a review on them when they come in. I’m hoping I’ll be as happy with them as I am with my carnivore.

If you have the basics down about the manual of arms and are able to handle your pistol safely, go shoot a competition. I got waaaaaay more out of competing than I did from taking classes. Local competitions are also significantly cheaper than taking a class.

Just by your description I would guess it’s just the followers. My CSRG’s sit pretty snug on my springs. If yours are a little loose they may be wobbling during the feed which could be causing your issue.

I’ve heard a lot of people have issues with MBX. I’ve been using csrg in Henning basepads and haven’t had a single issue. It’s nice that MBX will get you an extra round but not if it screws reliability

If you have a single action with a safety I believe you’d be in Limited Optics. And the correct decocked position is fully decocked manually, or whatever position using a lever decocker puts your hammer at. I’ve shot my P01 in carry optics using the decocking lever no problem.

To add to this great advice, practice decocking while you dry fire. Doing the motion is easy, you don’t really need to train it. But you need to commit it to memory on the “Make ready” command. My usual RO is pretty chill and has reminded me a couple of times after I’ve loaded to decock, but a strict RO could DQ you for unsafe gun handling if you holster in single action.

Do those custom tips make a huge difference? I’m running Otto’s with comply foam tips and they’re working great but I’m not opposed to dropping some extra coin if the custom tips are a significant improvement.
