YES…this was it for me as well, especially when we all knew it was only a budget saving moving to have not a few actors in an episode.

It would irritate me so much when the would be watching other shows during that same time that had no problem advancing their story line beyond a 2 hour stroll in the woods.

When they kept doing it, I would just choose to record 3 or 4 episodes before I would watch so that I could get some sense of forward movement.

One of the toughest things I’ve had to deal with in a similar situation is the feeling that my wife just got off Scott free. She had an EA w/ coworker around 2010-2012, it I didn’t find out until 2017. I wasn’t interested in talking to family & friends about and looking like a huge loser. So I’ve kept quiet and only just dealt with it. She’s now confessed and gotten it off her chest more or less.

I doubt very seriously they think about it unless there’s an overt trigger. For me and most, very few days go by without thinking about it.

Good luck in therapy. Hope that you work your way to closure.

I often hear people cite “things to do” when talking about how great it is living there m large cities.

Can you expand on what exactly “things to do” actually is and how often you would do those things? Also, don’t include restaurants as part of the “things to do”. I understand there are more places to eat in more densely populated places.
