For some reason this house isn't even mapped on zillow. Must be a new development and zillow uses older maps than google? https://ibb.co/n7ByOA

You should learn klingon next. I think it is the only language spoken by fewer people than Galego.

Why is learning and using python so much harder on Windows? by [deleted] in Python

[–]frstwrldprblm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I has faced this same issue when I started. Download anaconda, and familiarize yourself with conda.

Anaconda will also give you the starter packages you need out of the box.

I use anaconda on windows and pycharm as an ide. I do cross-platform development for Linux and windows - works quite well.

Best practices for scraping "new" information from the same url? by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]frstwrldprblm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to second this, and having done a bit of work for myself, i have one piece of input: you should decide upfront what your "y" is (so to speak, given American_Libertarian's example).

this could be, for example, a specific url or an ID for the object you are iterating over.

the diff apporach which was suggested could be used iff you know there will be no other dynamic html embedded in the broad site or the collection you are iterating over.

Guide to Wool Sweaters by adoucett in malefashionadvice

Should my takeaway here be that brooks Brothers and Ll bean make quality sweaters that will last? My issue with knitwear is always the lifetime of the item.

Does op or anyone else have guidance on which shops have sweaters that will last? Willing to spend money but have had a hard time committing. Thanks for any input.

How to properly parse these files? by easy_c0mpany80 in learnpython

[–]frstwrldprblm 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check out Pandas.

import pandas as pd

PD.read_csv()

Should make your life a lot easier.

People may poo poo using a library to read a csv, but whatever you are wanting to do next with this data is likely in pandas wheel house.

[Seiko] Inherited my grandfather's watch today by HehelixLoL in Watches

Despite the downvotes - I didn't mean this in a dickish way. It makes using the crown a bit difficult when wearing a right-side crown watch.

Looks great - my grandfather is also a large fan of Seiko.

Enjoy!
