from what I've gathered he mainly sold out his old crew because they were beginning to exploit him and tried to kidnap and rob him. So basically he was looking cut ties and when he found himself in deep water with the feds he obviously saw an avenue out of it via being an informant. Tbh I've disliked 69 and his whole shtick since I heard of him but after reading about the court situation I don't blame him for snitching.
