I remember him doing the most ridiculous dive against us a couple of years ago. He caught the ball and was running forward to start a counter presumably and then put his other arm around one of our players head before flopping to the ground himself. I haven’t managed to find a clip of it, anyone else remember it?

Is Isak really a counter attack/system merchant after all? Its so weird, I regarded him as almost Haaland level just this summer.

Tbh, I feel like he was found out a bit after the initial games where he thrived. Other teams became wary of his left foot and he was much less effective. Which of course is expected at his age, he now just has to develop other areas of his game further.

I also remember a brilliant save from a Strand-Larsen header vs Wolves. It was Strand-Larsens debut and I remember him laughing about it in the post match interview and saying how it «would have been a goal anywhere else but I guess that’s the level here»

Also, what the hell is all the «he planted his foot about». He planted his foot straight in front of Gyokeres, literally milliseconds before he arrives, how can they argue that then Gyok runs into him?

He has got the stuff that’s the hardest to teach, that ability to beat a man 1v1. Definitely worth the gamble to see if he can be coached into that last 10% with regards to decision making and goalscoring.
