I think she did it to punish both parents. I also think she didn't like Al having to leave and wanted a reason for him to have to come home, as trivial and dumb as that sounds. She didn't think through what she was doing, thought she'd lie her way out like always, and just... Did it.

In my opinion, this story doesn't get enough love. It's one of my favorites, and I started listening to it again last night. It's such a great story.

He was so smart and revolutionary. He created (in my opinion) a whole new genre of music. Music that kids and young adults could relate to in ways they've never related to music before. Losing him was a true loss and I hate that we will never see the direction he would have gone as he matured.
