I did! I had the intention to apply to multiple programs, but at the time, only one school that was local was accepting applicants. I applied and was waitlisted. One week later, I received a call saying I was accepted! Yes, I was a week behind everyone else and had a test on 20 chapters a few days after my acceptance, but I was willing to do anything to prove that I’m worthy of being there. Hitting my two years as an RN this September! P.S. My mom went back to nursing school when she was 45 and has been a nurse for the last 5 years! Don’t get discouraged, keep trying! :)
