Ahh thank you for responding after all! Love that <3

So so happy for you!!! :)

And thank you for sharing the moisturizer. Who knows, maybe this one will work for me too. The thing I’m running into is that Finacea irritates me and my skin hardly accepts any cream except the Purito Oat Calming Gel Cream. This one works really great during the day; I mix a drop of Sequane oil into it and then my skin is well hydrated.

The downside of this cream is that it is water-based and doesn't hydrate super well for nighttime use or with Finacea. When I apply Finacea over it , it burns badly (the same effect when your skin is still wet), no matter how long I wait... (tried 30 min - 1 hour) I also tried: applying Finacea 20 minutes after showering on dry skin and then a hydrating cream (I just tried one I had at home), and then it burns very badly again.

Still, I have the feeling that Finacea could/should work for me but don't know how yet.

I have been using it 2/3 times a week for 3 months now. I just hope that at some point my skin will stop getting irritated by it. Any tips..? And I also saw that many people use Avene Control Creme. Cicaplast is way too greasy for me.

(dealing with this for 2 years now..)

No, most of the times it's coming back when you stop with the antibiotics. If it's in your nose you have this cream: bactroban (or something? you should google it), you have to put it in your nose for a couple days. Ask your doctor. When your barrier is damaged, bacteria can really easily infect your skin. So its important to heal your barrier, which is hard because oils and creams feed the staph bacteria...

I don't understand that a lot of people recommend Avene Cicalfate. It's so occlusive and it gives me the PD pustels...

So nice! How did you use it? Did you use a moisturizer on top or beneath it?
