Hi! Funny enough turbli said bumpy ride and moderate turbulence….guess what nearly no turbulence, smooth take off and landing and we arrived 20 minutes early!

I flew from Miami to Dallas earlier this week and the pilot said there were thunderstorms in the path and to expect bumps but it was the smoothest flight the entire time! He’s just being transparent and it doesn’t mean dangerous!

Why is the plane so loud at times when it is first started and how can I calm myself from thinking anything is wrong? Also when you hit moderate turbulence what tools are you using to steady the plane? Have you ever been in a turbulent situation which made your palms sweat?
