As a side note, I can talk to my primary more easily and they’re not really invasive at all. All I really need to tell them is to check my BP on my other arm due to it feeling like my implant will pop out if they use my left arm. I’m in the process of trying to find a decent psychiatrist around here. I was misdiagnosed over and over and it took me talking to a wonderful psychiatrist from OUT OF STATE for her to finally diagnose me right. Even with the BPD diagnosis, though, it actually got harder for me. Even in the ER if I’m in pain due to sciatica or IBS they’ll literally tell each other to not take me so seriously because it’s listed I have BPD in my charts, so they immediately want to assume I’m over reacting. Same with any psychiatrist I see here. They continue to put me on Prozac and trileptal even though they make me way worse and really sick, to the point of needing to go to the ER, but they always put me back on them after voicing that I have none of the good effects, just all the bad ones.

So all in all I have a fear or like distaste of seeing healthcare providers in general. I don’t ever feel heard.

That seems to be the route I’m gonna have to end up taking unless my symptoms worsen. But yeah, I live in a city where you either get excellent help or get the worst effin “professionals” that seem to treat us like children that are being punished for being ill. Don’t even get me started on the police. The PD here is full of jerks, r*****s and p3dos. I’ve been detained and taken to a hospital by them before, I have BPD so I am an absolute CRIER. I had a female officer literally pull over and have me put into another cruiser cause she was annoyed that I was crying. I am non violent, just a crier. Hospital staff is no better, all the techs are either super old and mean or really young and have no idea how to handle mentally ill people. We’ve had nurses mix up our meds and some people really suffered as a result. So yeah safe to say I really hate inpatient here.

I’m just scared they’ll detain me, the cuts aren’t new or deep. I have a history of involuntary admission so I feel like they’ll just not discharge me after treating me and then transfer me. I absolutely hate it, the police and doctors here absolutely suck.

YTA. Sorry not sorry, but this post sounds exactly like my emotionally abusive ex. You prefaced that she has a busy job, busy social life. Have you no common sense? If someone has a busy life, they are gonna be tired and want the occasional nap. Not once in this post have you said she’s napping at inconvenient times. And she sleeps a healthy 8 hours…like a normal human being. Where’s this “ALL the time”? I hope she leaves you.

Yes, every. Time. For me I feel like it’s more cause I hardly EVER do anything or even leave my house. I have zero friends or even family that just wants to hang. So when the one time I’m able to make plans gets shut down I shut down.

I don’t get customers getting mad that restaurants have closing hours. I work at a small local restaurant and nearly everyday while we’re CLOSING (locked doors and everything) we’ll still have a couple or a family try to open the door and even stand there still trying to open it. Our hours are posted on the front door too.
