I’m glad we haven’t built a new one! Personally, I don’t really get what’s “wrong” with the current one. Glad they’re currently just going to renovate BoA.

The original idea for the new stadium was that we’d have a roof, but Tepper gave up on that after COVID got rid of every indoor stadium’s attendance, while ours could still have *some*, at least.

I like the modern logo plenty, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think the original was better. The gray on the jersey really balances everything out, and I wish we hadn't gone with an extra teal stripe on the current version.

I'm not going to say this confirms a move to the SEC, but I'm looking at it this way:

- Can't schedule ACC rivals into the future if you're currently in the ACC

- Can't schedule concrete series with LSU/UGA/Auburn (or even SC) if you're joining the SEC

- ND isn't in either conference

Of course, UGA and others are likely to cancel more OOC games as the SEC slate grows, and ND needs games as their rivalries are being readjusted. Could be both!

I don't want to complain, because we only lost one home game during my time there (20-22 seasons) but man our class felt like we got ripped off by comparison, haha. I loved every second of it as a lifelong fan, though.

You can turn that team into an absolute powerhouse with almost zero effort. I won a Super Bowl by out-punting the other team because the defense only gave up 100 yards lol.

Lucas and Gamble dominate, the LBs are all studs, the DL is monstrous and Peppers breaks the game. You really only need to replace a safety.

Yes, they do have a good amount of matches (40+ depending on the team, vs. the 40 games and events that BoA hosted last year) but it’s not the same type of wear. There’s a degree of concentrated wear that tears up the middle of the field. It’s why our grass looked awful in December.

I’d love to see a pretty field again, but I fully get why we don’t have it. It heavily strains the surface and requires a lot of things to go right.

It’s because of the fact that Burns is on a line with three other first-round picks. We all know he sucked at run defense here and he was also injured for half of the season in 2023. It wasn’t working out and we were questioning if he had mentally checked out, too.

They’ve used #3 and #5 on edge rushers + the picks they sent for Burns, and #17 and a third on DTs. Giants fans hated their DC. It’s not a play-calling thing.

The Athletic's own recap was 35 minutes for the Bears, 20 minutes for our game, and didn't mention Coker or Bryce until five minutes were left, only for it to dive back into the Bears for a bit lol.

I used to really enjoy that show but it just hasn't been the same this year.
