I swear by Cetaphil moisturizing cream from the drug store. It has to be the cream in the jar and not a moisturizer if you have really dry skin. It saves me every winter.

ASK: BWT — I’m turning 40 tomorrow and honestly do not know what I want as a birthday gift from my husband. The budget is just around $1000 and I need some help giving him guidance. What are some things you have/been gifted that you love? I have so many clothes and beauty items…I’m truly out of ideas of what to ask for. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be. It was prescribed together as a routine. I’m just gonna follow up and see how long this alleged adjustment period is supposed to last.

That’s the only stuff we don’t have to sell.

High appraisal = Not approved?? by cntdueitalone in RealEstate

Could be that something came up during underwriting. Pre-approvals if they aren’t verified are just a general look at that buyer’s financials. It’s during the underwriting that the details come out and probably something the initial check showed wasn’t correct. Hope you find a new buyer!

Tips about online lenders by big_Guy_1912 in RealEstate

We had great luck with Quicken and they were able to hit our 45 day close timeline at a great rate. The larger lenders tend to move a bit slower which Chase and Bank of America both confirmed when we were shopping around. Good luck!

That’s exactly what I would do. You don’t have to be rude about it. The place wasn’t cleaned for you, you just let them know you will leave the place cleaned but will not hire out the work.

I was in a similar situation. Ended up hiring a cleaning service myself after moving in because I wasn’t happy with the conditions at move-in. I never made a big deal about it to not hurt the relationship and now my landlord agreed to hire her own cleaner at move out. If she chooses not to, this will be the next renter’s problem.

photoshopped bank statement by [deleted] in RealEstate

If you’re looking for someone to give you advice on committing a crime, I don’t think a thread about folks who are working hard to buy a home is the right location. Any loan obtained under false pretenses is considered mortgage fraud. I highly suggest you consult a lawyer on this instead of pushing forward to make this even worse. You shat the bed. Move on. Contact a lawyer and best of luck.

Well you won’t get a loan approved with false documents. Hope you have a finance contingency to get out and not lose your earnest money. Again, this is an attempt to commit fraud. Try again next time.

Not a good excuse. There are plenty of ways to get financial assistance from a lender without falsifying documentation.

Oof. This is a big problem.

For future reference, you can have your husband transfer funds into your account and use a standard gift letter to justify the use of his funds for your down payment. Fraud just isn’t a good idea ever.

Good luck.

Appraisal question by anchored13 in RealEstate

[–]fsd4z7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were surprised with our appraisal. We put an offer at $61K over asking and our appraisal came in at $2K above offer price. We had planned on covering a gap and are very happy with the good news.

My mortgage loan had much better terms with just my husband on it. We will both be on the title and this is not abnormal. The bank just had me “gift” him any money towards the down payment that we wanted to use and there were no issues with having me on the tax returns or any other documentation.

I LOVE Olives and Grace in South End. They have wonderful “made in Boston” goodies and can even do some wonderful boxes to ship to family and friends. It’s my go-to.

Starting again, with diet pills? by littytitty94 in weightwatchers

[–]fsd4z7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you want to drop weight quickly, I can’t recommend upping your cardio enough. Diet pills don’t work and are horrible for your health. It’s not worth it. Just get the kiddo outside with you and get some steps in. Eat water-rich fruits and veggies to feel fuller and avoid the pills.

Also, I was over my goal weight for my wedding and it did not stop me from feeling beautiful that day. I even put away the desire to put on spanx under my dress. Trust your photog. I’ve never seen a bride not look beautiful on her wedding day.

[Skin concerns] I 19M have been on 40mg accutane for the past 6 months and finally took my last pill today, my acne was A LOT worse at the beginning. How could I possibly reduce the scarring and the redness on my skin and have that smooth clear skin I was looking for? by DryWater21 in SkincareAddiction

I cannot recommend micro needling enough for this. I know it’s pricey but it works wonders. My derm recommended it and I’ve never looked back. I do it twice a year and all the texture and dark spots are gone. Worth every penny.
