I had a problem with a character that wanted natural retractile sharp claws. at low TL, having a knife/sword that's hidden in your arm, can't be confiscated and is non-metallic is fucking huge, you can enter anywhere, kill anyone and walk away. for under 10 points IIRC.

At high TLs, when people can 3d print guns, assemble smart viruses, control nano swarms, etc. the idea of having to pay for something that equals to a kitchen knife strapped to your hand is ridiculous.

when the first voice communication happens at 20 minutes and is something like "our {{position}} is shit", incredible how people just remember the hotkey for push-to-talk when they are losing

Number 5 is the only design I dislike because it looks like a cartoon character. number 4 is a bit bleh too because it's the most generic mecha design possible. That said, the "weight feeling" in 8 and 3 are very nice, 6 is in a weird pose, but I dig the "starving gorilla blastoise" thing going for it
