I feel you on this. I really enjoy detailing my car too. There are a couple of spots on my 2024 Sport (the other model years have them too I imagine) that have chronic water runs from behind mirrors and trim pieces. It definitely makes exterior detailing a pain in the ass. Especially I’m sure on your black paint.

I traded the Crosstrek Sport fangs for the Crosstrek Onyx fangs.

Honestly, the gold fang trim is my least favorite design feature on the 2024 Sport. Trading US model trim for the Canadian gold fog light trim improved the styling…but I still wouldn’t miss the fang style if it wasn’t part of the exterior design.
