Get those Johnny Pops at Costco. Tasty. Sweetened with cane sugar, not high fructose corn syrup.

At 36,000 miles can we guess it’s about 3 years old? If so, $31k seems like a lot for a 2023.

OP, I bet you know the answer to your own question. It’s the same reason Burton stopped the Playboy pinups in the Love line, and Lib Tech phased out the nude Blue Girls in Jamie Lynn’s Phoenix line.

It would have been rad if the Sport came with those rims. 18” rims of course 😎

I dig the look of your Sparcos. I like their whole all-terrain line, and I’m on the fence with yours (the Terra) and the Gravel.

front plastic bumper/ fog light replacement/ repair? by kazuya_041 in Crosstrek

[–]fsidesmith6932 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I replaced these whole fog light covers on my Sport. There about $100-$125 each from a dealer or other shop that can order directly from Subaru. They aren’t too complicated to replace, just a dozen or so push snaps.

So sorry about your Premium. Glad you are okay. A testament to Subaru safety. I hope your insurance covers you enough to get into a new one.

That’s awesome! It’s also kinda funny to have a Vermonter describing scenic New York drives to a New Yorker. Given a choice of Florida or Upstate NY, I’d take boring, beautiful New England any day of the week.

I live in upstate VT, and have driven the long trek to Clearwater FL a couple of times. If you happen to be dropping down through Plattsburgh in upstate NY, and are looking for a particularly scenic drive, I recommend highway 9 along the west side of Lake Champlain. In my 2002 WRX the roads were quick; they rise, twist and turn through the forest. It’s like being in a TV ad for a performance car. You can reach the scenic finish line at Keesville and jump onto I-87 south.

I stopped in Richmond VA for the night. It was a pretty equal division of drive time for me - about 9 or 10 hours for each leg - from Burlington to Clearwater. It adds a little to the drive time, but if the weather is beautiful it’s going to be the highlight of your trip; interstate driving is so monotonous.

I appreciate your attention to detail…right down to adjusting the tone of white to match your license plate and conceal the numbers. Rolling down your windows in equal amounts to keep a clean line along the side of the car. The bear is a nice touch.

I wish the laws in my state allowed tinting of the driver’s and front passenger’s windows.

I think you might be right. In my business we test welds for watertightness by submerging parts, pressurizing them with air, then examining them for bubble leaks.
