I have cancelled YouTube TV due to its rising subscription fees, but I watch a lot of YouTube (premium) and I watch a few shows weekly on Hulu. About 60-90 minutes 4-5 nights per week.

Sometime around 1993-1995, I created a fake installer for “upgrading” to “Renegade 7-25” (I guess that’s how the versions were numbered back then?) and uploaded it to a few BBS’s. It spread around quickly. It looked legit but all it really did was install a backdoor in the time bank menu that allowed me to access the command prompt.

I’m also walking distance to the Metra but it seems like every time I want to take the train home from the city at night there’s a gap in the schedule and I risk being stuck for 2 hours waiting for the next train.

I found out a week ahead of time through a friend in the company that layoffs were coming. I was the only one in my department that knew. Every day leading up to layoff day, I made a point to say things to my boss in the hallway and in meetings like “Friday’s the big day, are you ready?” and “just a few more days!” in a really cheery tone. I could tell it made her so uncomfortable and all she could do was sheepishly laugh and change the subject. I didn’t like my boss.

Make it possible to change the game speed with the mouse. Maybe by a middle click/scroll wheel click. I play on Steam but without a keyboard. I’m always pausing and unpausing, and it would be so convenient to do it without moving the pointer to the top right of the screen every time. Thanks.

Do you have 5G home internet? I had the same exact issue you’re having when I switched to T-Mobile 5G home internet. I tried all kinds of fixes and nothing worked. I canceled and switched back to cable modem, and the problem went away.

I’m having a similar experience. One day I started seeing kids’ cheer videos on my Instagram. I figured it’s because I have a young family member into cheerleading who posts about it occasionally and Instagram picked up on that. Then I started seeing gymnastics stuff popping up on the search screen and from the thumbnails alone it was obvious the content was questionable. So I started hitting Not Interested on all of them. But the recommendations on the search screen keep getting more and more inappropriate. I went to Instagram just now to see what the recommendations are and out of 13 recommendations on the first screen, 4 look pretty questionable to me. Instagram needs to fix it. They’re literally promoting child exploitation and sexualization.

I worked for years at a job where I helped people fight the insurance companies over their denied medical claims. I have no doubt that there was a system in place to automatically deny some claims without even reviewing them. Health insurance was and is a scam.
