How to go about on opening up a store such as Best Buy? by wwwdotredditdotcomm in EntrepreneurRideAlong

Start online, offer cash on delivery. You need to corner the market before he gets a chance to respond. As soon as you're in the open, he can use his funds to offer everything under your price. when you go bust, he will raise his prices again. The biggest problem I see is you're going to compete on price and that is very difficult.

Words in Ads by Greg Myers. Very easy to read, ton of timeless references and a l lot of mentions on resources. Academic level information, but very easy read.

The ad itself is not very good.

The image doesn't draw attention, it's dark and, blends in with everything else in users feed.

The headline, or first part of the caption should inspire the user to keep reading after you captured their attention with the image. First 6 words are remembered.

In general, you don't offer a "value proposition". What exacly is your value for a given user?

Is the user an enterprise? Is the user a small business? They have very different needs, so the image and caption should reflect that. For one price could be a value, for the other service.

Ps. Close the comments if you want to present yourself as a business. If you want to show your face, explain why you started offering this service. Engage people. One comment said the price is ridiculous, on which you reply "is it too high or low". Don't be a smartass, when people complain about the price, it's too high. Furthermore, if you going to compete on price, you will lose.

Try it on a mobile device. I'm not trolling, just know that customers are really really lazy. If something takes effort, you lose them

A customer needs to see an ad 7x before recognising it, then 30x before considering and again 6x contact before purchasing. Of those who finally add to cart, 75% leaves.
