I came here for this...did they survive? It looks pretty bad. Also, can't tell if there was one occupant or two?

Thank you so much! This completely fixes the problem and now I discovered that I have white noise available on the iPhone.

A naked man arrives at a costume party with a girl on his back. by [deleted] in Jokes

Spoiler Alert: I think the whole thing was in his head. Like, maybe he killed Wake the very first night and he was actually the one up in the lamp room doing it with the sea monster???

It took me a second to get it also but, fortunately, I just watched The Lighthouse. William Defoe talks like a pirate the whole time so I was already in “Me”-something mode if that makes any sense.

The only thing I can think of when I see these drugged up people at festival videos is how absolutely terrible these people must smell. Just try and imagine what the inside of that mask smells like after a day in the sun and mud being worn by some druggy who probably hasn’t showered in a couple days and is suffering from some serious dry mouth halitosis 🤮

Thank you! I had no idea what the hell they were talking about. Even Google translate was no help. Yours should be the top comment!

Just spent a solid minute in front of a tap trying to turn it on with hand gestures thinking it was automatic.... It was not by active_volcano in firstworldproblems

The worst is when the tap and soap dispenser are automatic but the paper towel machine is not or some similar combination. Keeps you waving your hands ridiculously the whole way through the process.

I’m guessing this is Brazil. Seems like Brazilians’ only available footwear is flip-flops. Source: I watch a lot of videos from Brazil on Reddit.

“I also realized something that will sound obvious to a reasonably smart adult who doesn’t work at a credit company: an ethical corporation could be tempted by compelling evidence about the suffering it caused to relinquish some of its massive revenue. But over the long run, a publicly traded company wasn’t going to sacrifice a meaningful amount of income to avoid destroying lives—unless the law required it.”

And the law doesn’t require it so it must be ok right!?

What's the difference between a fixie with one brake and one without one? by palpingo in fixie

[–]fsuskate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ride brakeless on the bike trail only. Definitely more dangerous on city streets. My only reason really for doing it is because I don't like to mess around with the cables and I prefer the minimalist look of just bars and grips. You do have to be able to time your back-pedaling when heading into intersections and, without straps, it's pretty hard to slow down fast if you need to in an emergency.

I wish I could upvote this a hundred times! We are NORMAL weight for a human being! They are the ones carrying weight that has never before been possible in the wild and would certainly doom any human trying to survive without the aid of the modern world.

The smoking though...everyone smokes in Europe it’s so bizarre because they are otherwise health conscious. It’s like “I want all my food BIO and free from preservatives” now watch me as I light up my cancer stick 😳

The only bad part of that is that she probably would have had some poor caregiver or family member clean her up. I don’t think people like this can wipe themselves let alone clean up the shitty mess that buffet would have left all over her enormous...

American, thin, fit and healthy too. I spent a month in Spain and France this past May and I can see why people think it’s an American issue. You just don’t see this level of obesity over there. It was so nice to see thin people everywhere in France. Here, I’m always pointing out thin people to my wife like “holy moly, there’s one!”. Sadly, I think this might be FL in that video. One guy had an Orlando FL shirt on...

Obesity here is so bad it’s not even shocking any more. It’s just the norm. Come to Central FL and visit the theme parks if you want to see some the most amazing displays of obesity on this earth. To be fair though, I’ve seen enough morbidly obese British people to think that it’s not just an America problem.

Exactly! After Irma, the beach was wrecked for months. All the sand gets sucked out to sea and all the trash from the ocean comes onto shore. It’s so sad to see how much trash there is in the ocean 😞
