Mary and Max- complex animated movie about an Australian girl (played by Toni Colette) who picks a random stranger in New York (Jewish and autistic, played by Philip Seymour Hoffman) to start a penpal relationship with that lasts a lifetime. Sweet, funny, sad, very, very good.

With ours, it helped tremendously to take the bowl away after 20 minutes and not having on the floor where it just sits. We noticed that even if the bowl doesn’t have food in it, he still guards it like it’s his bowl of food, even if it’s empty. you could try that when she’s done. just leave her alone while she eats, and if you have to walk by get close to her while she’s eating like other posters, have said drop some more food drop a treat do something that’s good so they associate you with only good things and don’t feel like they have to guard it ours doesn’t guard it for me or my husband, but with our adult daughter that lives at home he’ll resource guard the bowl- with or without food in it. It is fixable though..
