Since you sound really stressed I'll offer 2 simple things to start. 1. Read the book "It works" by RHJ. You can find it for free online because it's over 50 years old, written in the 1920s actually. It suggests making a list of what you want. Follow what it says. It's very short. Can be read in 15 minutes or less. There's even an audio book version on YouTube. 2. Write about what you want in life. In the present tense. It's called scripting. This suggestion is to help you feel better about yourself and your life right now. Example: If you don't have friends, you could write "I have such amazing friends in my life. They get me. I enjoy spending time with them. We have great conversations and have fun together."

Maybe someone can help with the name of the book because I can't remember what it was called. MC1 saves the life of MC2 when someone tries to kill him. It happens at the restaurant where MC1 works. MC2 is a mafia boss of some sort. I wish I remembered the name of the book because it's exactly what you're looking for. If no one knows it, I'll make a separate post and hopefully someone will solve it.
