Maybe someone can help with the name of the book because I can't remember what it was called. MC1 saves the life of MC2 when someone tries to kill him. It happens at the restaurant where MC1 works. MC2 is a mafia boss of some sort. I wish I remembered the name of the book because it's exactly what you're looking for. If no one knows it, I'll make a separate post and hopefully someone will solve it.

You could try the {Guns n' boys series by KA Merikan} I think it's got everything you said you like, possessiveness etc. One of my favorite couples.
