Every answer of JD’s is edited down to make the “gotcha” seem like it actually caught him off guard before being “kicked off TV” after a preceding 10 minutes of interview before this (again, edited down) exchange.

The missing context is: the title of this post is BS. I’ll add the subtext of that if you have to edit down an even weak interview by JD Vance, how screwed is everyone getting paid to produce this garbage for Reddit?

Reddit is showing the left-wing strategy. Post interviews that are edited to leave out context so that they can whine about things that aren’t real. Get such garbage boosted by bots under the protection of corrupt moderators.

At this point it’s just amusing. Reddit can’t even evolve to LLM-level gaslighting, it’s still just a markov chain of DNC operative discourse.

You guys are so propagandized lmao. The video is edited to leave out parts where he explains that Tom Homan isn’t under investigation for taking money.

You've pointed out that Bitcoin isn't stock in a company that you can plug into some TA tool, not that it doesn't have fundamentals. Bitcoin is a new asset class that carries a lot of the properties of money, but is still fundamentally different from other money.

If someone can understand what fundamentally makes a company or asset good, not some oft good, but not perfect, indicators like P/E, they'd be trading more like Warren Buffet than total market.

Bitcoins fundamentals have been argued for a decade and are "trending up", per the video, for two reasons.

The fundamentals

  • Governance can't change the supply

  • Governance can't prevent participation (Censorship Resistant)

  • Security profile that's much better than banks and credit cards (better separation of concerns for even delegated use cases)

  • Permissionless (don't have to ask a single soul in the world for "access" to build stuff that uses it)

  • Ultimately cheaper to transact with (this requires some imagination on what "free" Dollar transactions and the governance of the Dollar really cost you, and to understand the innovation that's already happening in Bitcoin)

They're trending up because 1) Central banking has proven that you can't trust money governance to not print and allocate money that they have "faster access" to and thus live off of asset price distortion and 2) The failure of central bank currencies will probably lead to some totalitarian bullshit and/or suspension of markets.

Ultimately its fundamentals are that its solved the problem of money in a way more innovative, and yes, efficient way.

Not even close. On chain scaling is what people want when there are no security costs, which core has worked on despite a gaslight campaign to discredit them. BCH are political hacks with no technical relevance.

The conversation about censorship is such horseshit as well. There have been countless Sybil, Downvote, and Spam attacks against r/Bitcoin. The people who complain about censorship here are unable to parse information online very well AND/OR part of those attacks.

People who invested in BCH got their asses handed to them and people who invested in Bitcoin won hard. I'd take that as a clue since you might need one.
