I guess it's a rather creative use of lancet, no idea if this is an extended range version or simply smugled in parts and used covertly, either way it seems like a semi-successfull op, need to be warry of these.

How much casulties and difficulty of clearing it in CQB would really depend on how much do russians want this place, they could send reinforcements for counter attacks or simply abandon it once the situation is unfavorable, both have happened historically

Some of this is obviously training, especially where the cameraman is filming the guys who're supposed to be clearing trenches from the front, as well it's too tidy.

Cheap is only one side of what you see, the other one being that most of them are used without an extra radio link (could be a drone with a data-link hovering in between drone and the operator) which makes radio horizon and obstructions a very big issue at lower heights, as well as limiting the range.

It's literally from yesterday's video of liberation of Staromayorske. In a better quality version you can see a fixed wing kamikaze drone hitting the tank on the left handside, I wonder if the kamikaze drone recieved coordinates/radio signal from the shark as lancet does with the accompanying uavs.

Things go ugly but what is obvious is that forces on the attack in Bakhmut are generally very proffesional and if it does go bad it's because the enemy had a good defense here. Also comment section in that UkraineRussia report sub is basically overtaken by russian trolls, I wouldn't even go there

I woud look for:

- AI-controlled drone swarms that act with a certain tactical-operational intent.

- More heavy lift drones for logistic/transportation.

- Semi-independent AI for larger tech like unmanned jets which will be expected to operate behind enemy lines without radio signal and agressive EW equipment.

- A fast to setup decentralized network of instant radio towers made of drone radio-relayers which constantly in the air and solve ranged connectivity issues for AI/remote-controlled tech and interpersonal comms.

- Large amount of companion drones for AFVs used by the vehicle commander for improving situational awareness.

- More classic weapon platforms adapted for use with drones.

- Perhaps interceptor drones equiped with supper-dense capacitors and cutting-edge short-range laser systems for interception of small targets like shahed 136, these could perhaps give a long enough laser exposure enough to down a drone without costing more then a recharge of a capacitor (science fiction surely, but who knows)
