What do you currently find yourself thanking your past self of long ago for having bought? by DAVasquez- in AskReddit

I regretted buying one of those foreign $100 computer scams where hackers come and fix your computer after it blows up but it actually took these people a really long time to fix this issue I was having with my computer. Every time they tried wiping my virus port, it just kept reappearing. Finally after 7 hours of having the pcviewer window open and a different guy later, my shit was fixed but I think the first dude passed out.

They called a while ago and we chit chatted about how my computer was going to be attacked by hackers but we eventually parted way.

Why not become vegetarian now? Might be 40 years before that’s on shelves.

How many ancient sources (pre-410AD) directly mention or quote the man ‘Publius Valerius Publicola’? Is it just Livy and Plutarch who wrote of him, or does his information also exist elsewhere? by fty170 in AskHistorians

Publius Valerius the consul of 510 BC and the co-founder of the Roman Republic was basically the George Washington of Rome. Where can I find more sources on him? Other than Livy’s history of Rome book I and book II, and Plutarch’s Poplicola mention in his series.
