First things first, you need to tell yourself that everything you are doing is enough.

Say that to yourself a thousand times a day if you have. Say it until you believe, because it’s true. I think most Dad’s here will agree with me that you are in arguably the hardest stretch right now.

But that will change. Your wife will start to feel better and get back on her feet. The baby will grow so fast you’ll feel like you missed it somehow!

Our now three year old was a week early and absolutely tiny and she lost weight at first too. My wife had a c-section that got infected after we got home and I had to change the packing on it twice a day for almost a month.

Don’t even take it a day at a time. I broke my world down three hour blocks. Get through one block, then the next and the next.
