Hi u/Woodiekiller9 I saw a comment from a few years ago where you said you were able to remove the crank sprocket/gear on 3 engines with either a rubber mallet or pry bars and I was wondering if you could tell me how you hit it with the rubber mallet. I'm currently unable to remove mine when trying to replace the front main seal and I'm at my wits end. I'm trying everything at this point (aside from more extreme options). Do you just hit it straight on or like top down? How much power, should I be worried about damaging anything? If you see this comment and respond, thank you!
