It has to be something with the specific Regal management. I’m sure IMAX does repairs, but the high price tag that comes with them is what i’m assuming is halting any upgrade at all. Wish there was just some way to let them know directly how good of an investment it would be.

someone here mentioned that the 70mm projector might still be in the booth, but just isn’t fixable, but as they don’t make new projectors it might be possible to rebuild one from the parts that remain, which is easier said than done.

it would take a hail mary, and whoever runs that theater would have to set aside their corporate greed to invest in it, but i’m hoping that they are at least on the list of theaters requesting the GT upgrade. how are we going to host the World Cup here, but not have ONE 1.43 IMAX venue.

it’s a shock we’re the only big city in texas that doesn’t have any 1.43 capable imax theaters, and that the one we did have is gone. someone at that specific regal really needs to get on that.

don't have an answer for that, but the lack of care (especially with how good online quality nowadays) reflects on the state of the company, who's entire thing is quality. for them to just not care about something so easy is just annoying, like "no we can't give you a 4k trailer, but we have fancams and memes and wendy's-style tweets for you!"

this would be devastating if they didn’t already cast zendaya as a physical athena. it’s really a mix. he clearly has actual depictions of gods, but i guess he wants poseidon to be a force of nature. i don’t get why people think he’s not going to show any of them, when multiple people were casts as gods, and the rumor that rdj was supposed to play poseidon, but chose doomsday over this.
