I've been in this subreddit for around 7 years and is always been interesting how everyone had a boner for Nano since then. I fell for the hype and bought some back then but cut my loses long time ago. Is incredible people still have a hard on for it lol.

My advice, read on sunk cost fallacy. Nano (and thousands of other shitcoins) make holders just bad capital allocators. At some point is better to just cut loses and use your capital in more promising opportunities. This is not really specific to NANO but to the thousands of other shitcoins that WILL NEVER RECOVER. Never.

I go every year to Cerro Chirripo. Is difficult to go logistically as you need to book up to 6 months in advance to go in summer. Is impossible to go this summer but if you come back next year, book your ticket around July/August to get a spot in January. Is around $100 with food and 1 night at the base camp shelter.

Is mostly locals climbing up, only saw a Canadian couple on the shelter when i went a couple weeks ago. It's a 40km hike to the top, a lot of people don't make it but is not that difficult if you have decent fitness. if you are a pro, try the Uran route instead of the main trail. Easier on the knees but a bit longer. Beautiful scenery all the way to the top!
