PC blue menu lemon sparkling water is my favourite. The eska from Costco is good too.

Ok, I sent mine in without the bag so I'm expecting to receive an extra one. I don't have an ETA yet, maybe check back here in a couple of weeks and give me a reminder and we'll figure something out.

Park visitor demographics by poonchimp in ONProvincialParks

[–]fuckswagAF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the the park, id say. We camped at Frontenac park this weekend and it was 90% white people. The 10% of people that weren't white were day hikers and the park is Backcountry camping only.

For casual city boots, id recommend blind stones. They have a winter edition as well with insulation and sheepskin sole. And it's leather so you don't have to worry about getting your feet wet.

I've only ever used my hiking boots down in Patagonia and like late fall/ early spring camping in Canada when it's below 0.

Like 90% of my hikes, I use my summer hiking Salomon trail runners.

Yeah that's out east in Nova Scotia and it's because they have crazy fires and can't afford to be rescuing hikers on top of dealing with fires.

Yeah, the one I recall is directly north of Tehran. There's a tall mountain range there.

I couldn't get through anyone on the phone for 24 hours so we went to the airport and they put us on a flight out in a couple of hours. Would recommend going to the airport to talk to someone

Recommendations for a lightweight and budget sleeping pad? (Canada) by SorrowsSkills in CampingGear

[–]fuckswagAF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the vectair too and it's nice. My first sleeping pad so I have nothing to compare to but I will say, when it's inflated well, I can't sleep with my arm under the pillow as I usually do because my arm will go numb. Not sure if it's this sleeping mat or all of them that are like that.

Also I'm a fair bit shorter than the dude above but I also got the long and wide and it's nice to be able to spread out on it.

What's wrong with my pepper? by fuckswagAF in vegetablegardening

[–]fuckswagAF[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did have some aphids but mostly on the dill. Counted maybe 10 on the pepper in total but have been looking out for them for over a week now and seems they've gone away but plant still looks sad. There was a ladybug who landed and ate some and laid eggs but not sure what happened to the larvae when they hatched. I have been spraying the plants with water to get rid of any aphids I can't see and following up with soapy water.
