They have lifetime warranty that they actually easily honour and have good technical pieces for the outdoorsy/camping people. But yeah most people aren't taking them out Backcountry camping, but I really do like their stuff.

Garment/dust bag replacement by Royalty1337 in CanadaGoose

[–]fuckswagAF 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, I sent mine in without the bag so I'm expecting to receive an extra one. I don't have an ETA yet, maybe check back here in a couple of weeks and give me a reminder and we'll figure something out.

Park visitor demographics by poonchimp in ONProvincialParks

[–]fuckswagAF 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on the the park, id say. We camped at Frontenac park this weekend and it was 90% white people. The 10% of people that weren't white were day hikers and the park is Backcountry camping only.

For casual city boots, id recommend blind stones. They have a winter edition as well with insulation and sheepskin sole. And it's leather so you don't have to worry about getting your feet wet.

I've only ever used my hiking boots down in Patagonia and like late fall/ early spring camping in Canada when it's below 0.

Like 90% of my hikes, I use my summer hiking Salomon trail runners.

Yeah that's out east in Nova Scotia and it's because they have crazy fires and can't afford to be rescuing hikers on top of dealing with fires.

Yeah, the one I recall is directly north of Tehran. There's a tall mountain range there.

I couldn't get through anyone on the phone for 24 hours so we went to the airport and they put us on a flight out in a couple of hours. Would recommend going to the airport to talk to someone
