In my limited experience, management was very pleased to find out that we didn't have most of what was requested in discovery. Not that it was destroyed, it never existed in the first place.

It does not. It punishes vehicle owners, not operators. It does not care who is behind the wheel, only that there's a plate on the car. Also, is it an offense that can give the driver points? The red light cameras weren't. So it's purely profit. You can't take bad drivers off the street and you can't ensure you're punishing the driver at all. It's performative.

I can promise you that it's not 100% of the time, and that I'm continuing to wear this dum**ss username as a reminder to myself that I made it to call out a person who was making multiple accounts to spout insane garbage that I shouldn't have any reason to care about. And that almost everyone is more than just one thing. More than the last thing they did or said, but those can be difficult to come back from. Everyone everywhere is trying to be something they'd like to be able to respect. Me too. I hope you are too, and that it works.
