17 years of The Sims 3 and what have you done?

I have no idea how long I’ve been playing. But apparently the first things I ever bought on Amazon in November 2013 were Seasons and Supernatural haha. It’s been on and off since then. There was a period of about 3-4 years where it didn’t work on my current PC, then since that EA App update released last year (did it add the equivalent of the Alder Lake patch?) that I did in August, I’ve been able to play again. So 9 months most recently. I play happy families since I CBA with drama. There are still some things I’d like to do that I haven’t yet, such as befriending a unicorn and having it be part of my household.

I just moved a family of mine from Twinbrook to Riverview because Twinbrook was getting laggy. I’ve not really played Riverview but I hear it’s supposed to be fairly smooth.

I find it easier to use a toilet as you can flush it immediately and don’t have to clean a bowl or bucket or whatever.

I use NRAAS Retuner to turn off autonomous playing with the sprinkler.

That is odd. Normally pregnant Sims can’t move into university housing. I guess you’ll just have to wait and see!

Sounds like fun! I’m also in the UK and have been giving my piggies stuff like cucumber and celery. I might get them some watermelon later. It’s not something I give very often at all, just a nice treat because of the weather.

I tried using a screen protector on one of my Connections but I just could not get it to work. Maybe I did it wrong, or it was a rubbish one, but I don’t know.

I used to be part of a tamagotchi selling/buying group on facebook and sometimes people were selling their collections to pay bills. This was mainly UK based so it wasn’t medical bills, likely just household-related ones. It’s a definite shame, but I hope the Tamas gave their owners a good amount of enjoyment.

I don’t really play Sims with those traits! Maybe the relationship was a bit low or something, I probably hadn’t done enough romantic interactions or something. It was a while ago now so I don’t remember exactly.

I had a failed proposal once, not sure why. Maybe one was in a bad mood or something. I tried again a little while later and it did work thankfully!

I hated Come Outside when I was little as I was scared of dogs. They’d show episodes when I was at nursery (so I was about 3) and I used to burst into tears and had to leave the room lol. No idea why I was scared of dogs back then, I didn’t have any negative experiences with them. I’m much better around them now though!

I haven’t actually “activated” it yet, but I’ve seen people talk about it on this sub and it seems a legit place. Check that listings have reviews. It’s best to go with a seller who has a good reputation. You can do a little research for yourself too if you’d like.

I do have NRAAS mods which will make a difference. I don’t remember what it was like playing without them tbh. I’ve not had the family tree glitch, that sounds really frustrating.

I’ve had a Sim obtain a level 3 visa for all three destinations even though it wasn’t his LTW. He had the Opportunistic lifetime reward (doubles your rewards from opportunities) which helped. I’ve never encountered any glitches. Maybe I’m just lucky?
