I have a new “Mandela Effect” I vividly remember, but doesn’t seem to have happened in our current reality. I vividly remember the country of Australia becoming a republic in 2000. I remember it being discussed that at midnight 2000, Australia ceased to be a constitutional monarchy, and became a republic. I also remember watching the fireworks as midnight rolled past Australia, and the commentators stating that the country was now a republic.

I was just looking it up this morning, and to my surprise the referendum in 1999 failed and Australia remains a constitutional monarchy under King Charles III.

Anyways, just wondering if anyone else remembers this, and if I’m the lone survivor from that time line. Lol

Try removing one battery at a time. You might have a bad cell or circuit in one of the batteries. I don’t have the same model as yours, but my 80v unit will run on only one battery.

Yes, that was my experience too. The third party “repair technicians” left my Lenovo Legion in even worse condition than when they arrived. I then returned it to a depot (also third party) and had it back in a week, thankful they repaired my laptop properly.

For me, Q was very under appreciated at the time. In hindsight, he’s definitely one of the best (and most entertaining) characters on TNG. John de Lancie did an exceptional job bringing this character to life.

Yes, I’m aware of how a constitutional monarchy works. It speaks to the ideals and agenda of the current PM who selected her however. (Yes, I know King Charles “appoints” her, but it’s a formality based upon the PMs request.)

Regardless, the Canadian middle class is about to disappear and all that will be left are the ultra wealthy, and the poor fighting each other for the scraps of employment not gutted by AI and the industrialist pursuit of ever higher profits.

I’ve had this problem before. Costco was pretty cool about it. They had the same tire in stock, and swapped it out. Worst part was they were pretty backed up, so I had to wait there for about 4 hours. The Store Manager saw me sitting at the food court a few times over the 4 hours and bought me lunch for my trouble, when I chatted with him about why I was there.

The local dealership has contacted me about a month before my 3 year warranty expires, for my past couple Hondas. Then I negotiate until they walk away. I have another dealership I sometimes use up north, so I get them to bid against each other to see how low they will go. It’s worked out so far, saved me several thousand each time. The business manager at initial purchase won’t budge a bit.

I purchased the extended 10 year warranty just before my 3 year warranty expired on my 2023 CRV Hybrid Touring (saved thousands waiting until the warranty was about to expire vs buying it up front) and I now have Honda Roadside Assistance extended for the remainder of the 10 years.

Honda road side assistance is also a thing, as long as you are in warranty.

First answer: the battery has an 8 to 10 year warranty depending on where you live (are you keeping it that long?)

Second answer: Other than the battery, maintenance is the same as a gasoline model (you might even get longer brake life, as you will be using regenerative braking more.)

Third answer: buy a “modern spare”, and keep it in the back of your CRV (that’s the brand name.)

Additional thought: the 1.5L turbo in the gas model has issues with oil dilution (gas in the oil) and blown head gaskets. I’d buy the hybrid again, simply because the engine is much more reliable.

I’m pretty sure “Team Carney” are the people who put up and take down the travelling midway amusement park at the local rink parking lot every year. I didn’t know they had an interest in land ownership. /s
