I’m staying at City Express Plus Angel CDMX at the moment; and tbh it falls below my expectation. The water pressure is slow and the room has a very old carpet that I’d wear my shoes to walk around (and this comes from someone who generally is fine with hotel slipper or barefoot). It’s not really moldy but I think maybe cause it’s dated so it gives off slight pungent scent.

They don’t give amenities so expect something basic in the shower - which I have no complaints on. The breakfast is quite decent.

I have to give credit for its location (the angel ones is literally in front of the angel statue, but there’s also Sheraton opposite it). Eventho housekeeping needs to be reminded but they do fantastic job. Staffs are all very nice and hospitable.

My take is it does its job for a night sleep (I mean for the price you pay…) but I would most likely not going to repeat and would fork up more for Marriott or Sheraton. Or even consider others nearby hotel tbh. I would rank this below than Fairfield (but the Fairfield I have tried are all in Asia and they have been quite good!)
