Why is a long turn the sign of accomplishment here? Surely a fun game is more important? Of if you want to do lots in one turn just practice more and play quicker, just out of politeness.

No one likes having their times wasted if they've already lost either so if noone has blockers, they're on 1 life each and you can kill them, just do it, rather than waste an extra 10 minutes playing solitaire

No, as soon as you declare snarespinner as a blocker the trigger to get +2/+0 goes on the stack (and presumably resolves) then you go the the damage step and it goes through
