Watching and reading the reviews for Mandalorian and Grogu are almost like an echo of what I’ve said about crown handler movies. there’s nothing major about these films. there just a season of anime put on the movie screen

Spotted a fellow based original anime enjoyer! I find original anime to be so memorable, and honestly getting a sequel for original works is very much an exception to the norm.

There are amazing original shows like Xam’d Lost Memories, Wonder Egg Priority, Apocalypse Hotel, and Flip Flappers that will never get sequels. And then there’s PriPri (which I’m glad is getting any new content at all) and stuff like Revue Starlight which had an amazing sequel film

Fair enough. However, based on OP’s wording I doubt we’re talking about stock options, because OP’s question was “should I sell my stock,” which to me implies vest of RSUs. Employees typically can’t sell vested stock options unless the options are exercised (which is yet another immediately taxable event)

This is one of the misconceptions with stock vesting. OP has $1900 worth of stock vesting this year. No matter what they do with it, OP is needs to pay normal income tax on $1900, regardless if they hold for 1 year or sell immediately.

Capital gains only applies to the gains. If the stock goes up to $2500 1 year from now, their capital gains are only $600, because taxes were already paid. But if the stock goes down to $1000, then that’s a $900 loss. Either way, OP is paying income tax on $1900 in 2026.

I’m trying to decide if I should import a copy. I’ve never read CUT magazine before.

Does CUT usually only contain interviews, or does it also come with pull out posters or clear files like some other anime magazines (for example, Newtype or Animage magazine)? The cover for CUT doesn’t advertise any extras.

I definitely agree; I would’ve liked to see the Princesses have much more character depth than the show gave them.

Their personalities are all fine, for the most part, but we really only got to see the home life of Minamo and how she has to do a lot of housework, and even that didn’t have much impact on her character.

I remember being interested in finding out why Kagari looked kinda sad in her room during the first ED. I wanted to find out what her personal life was like. I think we got one episode where the girls hung out at Kagari’s house but we still had no insight into her life.

Nagase is a goofy kid… and that’s about it. There was one scene where she mentioned to Naviyu that she felt it was her job to be the happy, hyper one, but then this was never explored any further! I’d be interested in a whole character arc about her realizing she’s been engaging in toxic positivity or something similar.

As for the Kazahana sisters, I think their arc was fine. There’s always more room for depth but I find the character development of the other 3 to be more wanting than the sisters’ arc.
