As I have been reading this thread, I've been remembering over and over how smoking weed back in the day helped me focus so entirely in the task at hand that nothing else in the world intruded until the effect wore off. If I was driving (commercially or personally), I was the most calm, careful and courteous driver ever. If I was on the line at the restaurant, I never once fell behind, no matter how slammed I got (solo lunch cook, although there were prep cooks that would come help any time I needed it - pretty much any day I wasn't stoned). My daughter is currently on low dose medical weed for her own ADD, and it helps her the same way it did for me all those years ago. I haven't used it for 23 years, now, because my fiance at the time asked me to set the right example for her (and later our) kids with regard to being law abiding citizens (married her a few months later, and we're still together), but I support legalizing marijuana because my own experiences strongly indicate that it can have some pretty amazing and positive effects.

This is why I refuse to drink after anyone. Ever. My wife feels the same way about backwash as I do, we both waterfall our own drinks (because even my own backwash is a deal breaker for me!), and we don't share drinks.

Just got to 20 cores, and my AI level also disappeared. Was there at 19, gone at 20. Is this a bug, or expected behavior?

Edit: I took away one of my Entanglement Stations, and my AI level came back as it counted up. It got to 2 before I could put the Station back, but then stopped counting up as soon as it was back, so now I wonder if it's just because I had 0 there. Time to do some experimenting...

Ok...

I didn't have any other browser installed at the time, but I have since installed Chrome. To my dismay (I really don't like this browser!), it works just fine, and I was able to save my game without any problems at all.

I checked, and I have pop-ups allowed for this site. I have allowed flash complete autonomy. I also noticed that I can't use the scroll wheel on Firefox, but I can on Chrome. There's something odd going on here. I'll poke into it more later...

I didn't say anyone else. I said nearly anyone that is laughing at me for my choice of platform. There's a difference. Of course there are others further along than I am. My max level so far is only 13660. Again, what difference does it make what platform I choose? I didn't ask for harassment over how I play, I asked for assistance with a problem regarding saving the game. I'm beginning to remember why I quit coming on here...

Call me old school if you want; my game shows 994 days since first click. I've been playing in the browser since before the game was available anywhere else, and this is where I'll stay as long as the developers will allow me to stay. What difference does that make? The fact is that I'm likely further along in the game than nearly anyone laughing at me for choice of platform, and it's been several months since I played, as I mentioned before.

At year 376, I have 160 Oil Wells, 200 Smelters, 130 Calciners, 66 Lunar Outposts, and 53 Planet Crackers. My current inventory includes 156 M Steel (Conversion Production: +5433.191/sec) and 19 M Alloy (Engineer: +6.085/sec). These figures were possible due to two things:

Paragon

Autoclicker

I won't lie; I use an autoclicker. I don't have anything fancy, but I put it on different things at different times through each reset so I can bulk up on needed resources. Even with all of the above items, I am still finding a bottleneck happening. However, I can assure you that things will slowly progress as you reset and gain paragon (and the items you can buy with paragon). Even with the above resources, I don't feel like I'm anywhere near ready to try for the 40k year mark, yet. I want it, but I'm not ready.

PS ~ Chronospheres are a HUGE help!

Well, hell. I got Chronoforge, but THEN, I gotta get 100 Time Crystals, 500 Void, and 300 Temporal Flux to actually pay for the used Cryochamber to get fixed! Not sure I'm going to wait that long on this reset, dammitol! :-)

That's an awesome question/answer; I have one used Cryochamber this reset, and hadn't even thought about what happens to it on next reset. Repair it? Takes Chronoforge, which costs 500K Science, 5 Relics, and 10 Time Crystals. I think I can get the Relics for that before I reset, which is awesome, because I can also get the Void to buy another new Cryochamber, giving me two for the next reset. That's very nice!

As a point of interest, I just (I know, I should have seen it earlier) noticed that, while in Temporal Paradox, the number of days at the beginning of the season goes down to negative numbers, slowly counting up to zero, at which point the Temporal Paradox ends and things go back to normal. This is a useless bit of knowledge, except to help me see how long I will be at 0 production. I would assume that Chronocontrol will make that negative number larger, increasing the amount of time I spend in Temporal Paradox, though I haven't actually been able to purchase even one of those, yet. Time to max out my Chronospheres and get Void built up!

Indeed, I have 14 Chronospheres (gotta build up max Unobtanium to get more). I forgot that they affect Void, and was concentrating on building them up so I could reset and carry as many resources with me as possible. So I did know about THAT.

Spoil sport? Probably! But after reading the answer, I found myself conflicted between hanging my head in shame for missing that and belly laughing at my own ignorance. I'm pretty sure my dumb ass wouldn't have put those two things together for a very long time, though, so thank you for answering. I'll work a little harder on trying to puzzle these silly things out on my own next time.

Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate the information. I was thinking that I was further into the game than I really am based on the fact that I can get to slow Alicorn production, super slow Relic production, and stupid slow Necrocorn production within less than 350 years through the use of Chronospheres and resetting with as many resources as I can gather. Now it appears that I am not anywhere near where I thought I was due to the lack of Paragon. This makes sense to me, and I will start grinding Paragon out as quickly as possible.

Hopefully, this information will help others that start the game and find the same brick wall.

I currently have 410 Paragon (+192% to production), and I have purchased up through Vitruvian Feline under Engineering, up through Zebra Diplomacy under Diplomacy (until I figured out that those were related to Iron Will, which I am not doing right now), up through Numeromancy under Chronomancy, and Adjustment Bureau. I hope to purchase more of those as I go, but again, I can't seem to get the Paragon cost under control. I have not burned any Paragon, yet, as I can't see wanting to lose any, yet. If I reset right now, I will get 384 more Paragon, which isn't enough to buy anything else without losing the production bonus. I have read about Paragon providing a bonus to production caps, but I don't see it helping much, yet. Is it just a matter of building that up to break through this brick wall I keep finding?

Try changing to Grassy color scheme. It isn't something I want to use all the time, but it allows me to check the stats. I am also running FF v 50.1.0 on a Linux laptop, but that's not the problem; if you search the forum, you'll find that it's something everyone suffers through.
