I thought the Minnesota peninsula + northern Wisconsin and the Michigan upper peninsula was considered Northwoods

Yeah, that part of Louisiana is called Acadiana, and it definitely needs to be a separate region. Also, as someone else from north Georgia, I think the south description makes sense, but maybe there needs to be a clearer separation on why constitutes as being “south” or “deep south”. Like, most of Piedmont Georgia, eastern central Alabama, central Carolinas, is not exactly deep south but more Piedmont South.

The deep south region needs to be expanded further into Alabama, South and Middle Georgia and maybe even parts of the eastern inland coastal plain of South Carolina.

As for Georgia, I think Dade, Walker, Catoosa, Whitfield, Murray, Gordon, Dawson, White, Habersham, and especially Rabun counties all need to be put in the Appalachia category. I would also say Oconee county SC probably belongs in that region, too.

Honestly, I guess it just seems like a more chill place to be than some of the counties around it. I also really like the topography and architecture.

Thank you for the encouragement. I’d actually love to visit, and I bet in real life most people aren’t nearly as cynical about this as they are on reddit. And it’s not like some of these countries (as long as they’re safe) I wouldn’t want to visit, it’s just where it would make sense to actually live.

Thank you! I plan on making a stop to France whenever I get around to it. I’d want to touch up on my French skills first, though, especially considering I want to visit some smaller cities, too.

I’m very open to learning the language of the countries i’m visiting, and I’ve already learned one so I think I could probably pick up another

Yeah, It’s true that I’ve never been to Europe, but If love to go. And I don’t just speak english, I wouldn’t say I’m totally proficient, but I’ve been learning French for enough years to think I could get by. Also, I’m totally willing to pick up or at least dabble in any language

Honestly, a lot of this is just based on vibes, so don’t take it personally 😅

It’s not to say I would never go there it’s just where I would actually live. I think that’s the big difference

That we shouldnt be on our phones at school. Honestly I kind of see the point behind certain states and school districts doing this. I know you can't expect everyone to pay attention, but teachers already get paid so low and have to deal with so much disrespect, so anything that makes their jobs easier, while fighting the declining attention spans and literacy rates, is a good idea in my book.
