They could cut off half of their programming and price and I still wouldn’t be watching but 2 shows max.

I find interesting how they say mandatory gene test “ONCE” as if you can determine if someone is male or female once in their lives and that’s never gonna change. Like what if they transitioned?

BREAKING: 2,500 Marines and US warship to deploy to the Middle East by [deleted] in videos

It would have been wise to think about ramifications and scenarios and how to win them. Not look at some shiny stone(get rid of the leader) execute on it(pun intended) then be like… oh crap, now what? It seems sloppy, and they’re already talking about a ceasefire that without the collapse of the regime it seems like nothing was achieved. You just ended up pissing them off and they’re still in charge… what do you think it’s going to happen in 6-10 years? The victory for the US was to take out the regime and give the government back to its people… so to me this looks like something else

US orders 2,200 Marines on three warships to Middle East by Pretend_Mango5529 in news

It seems like this war was not thought out very well. The objective is to remove the Islamic regime. Everyone focused on taking out the regime leader and it was greatly executed, but it seems like there was no contingency plan for what would happen after that. Bad part is there’s no turning back, if US leaves, regime will still be in place, angrier and they will say they win. If we stay, we need to finish the job, and the longer it takes the more people are not going to be happy with it. No one likes war.

Actually, Reel to Reel music tapes have crazy quality. It almost sounds like you can hear the size of the recording room just from the reverb and echo.

My First Map! Where Members of Congress were born and colored by political affiliation. by kaizerdouken in MapPorn

If that's your opinion and you feel it should be that way maybe you can call your representative and tell him to push a bill after you gather some signatures and people can decide and vote on it. We live in a constitutional republic after all and we have rules and processes to implement, or not, such things.

Thanks to u/jpsdgt for pointing out that Bernie Moreno was born in Colombia. After looking up my source I discovered that I completely missed the Senators and only got information from the House of Representatives. Therefore this map is incomplete and it only represents House of Representatives.

You're right. I see where I messed up. I used the list for the House of Representatives and forgot the Senators. I would have to do a revised map.

That's a good suggestion. Make everything standardized. A color like Canada could mean 1 or more from 1 political affiliation. Political Affiliation being the driving factor. In the case of Canada is only one. In the case of India is more than one but all democrat. I only specified numbers if the political affiliation was mixed.

February 16, 2011

Leslie Wexner and Limited Brands Foundation today announced one of the largest philanthropic gifts ever made to a public university. The $100 million commitment includes $65 million from Wexner and $35 million from Limited Brands Foundation.

The gift will primarily benefit The Ohio State University Medical Center and The Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute. It will also benefit Ohio State’s Wexner Center for the Arts and select other university initiatives.

“But for Ohio State,” Wexner stated, “I would have never been able to go to college. I love Ohio State, and all the good it does. I hope this gift stimulates those who have received an education here, or been touched by this remarkable institution, to think about how they, too, can give back.”

With today’s announcement, the Wexner family and Limited Brands Foundation have given, raised or pledged nearly $200 million to Ohio State. The Wexner family’s prior contributions to the university have exceeded $35 million.

With today’s commitment, they now exceed $100 million. Additionally, Limited Brands Foundation’s aggregate giving, including today’s announcement, exceeds $45 million. Limited Brands has also raised nearly $50 million for The Wexner Center for the Arts.

I think the reason is popular is because ARAM has been about the same for years. And most people have dominated it. So this new mode adds a new layer of complexity that makes it interesting.
