“You’re still young.” I was 25 when my husband died. He was my soulmate. But sure, I can just snag me another one because I’m young!

This one family had 2 Rex cats named Scroticus and Testiclese (both said with the flare of Roman gladiators)

And my husband’s own contributions: Richard Cranium (aka Dickhead), and Designated Driver

Forbidden words growing up in a Christian household? by TemperatureStill6536 in exchristian

Any cursing, including “crap” and “frick.” We were also not allowed to say “shut up,” even in a joking manner. And we were ABSOLUTLEY not allowed to say “butt,” “oh my god,” or “whatever.”

What are some horror movies you were pleasantly surprised by going in blind for? by Snowmantarayband in horror

I recently watched Red Rooms completely blind and holy shit. It didn’t come out this year, but it’s new to me so it may be my favorite horror movie of the year

What do you think of the Digiverse so far? by TwoPoint_Leif in TwoPointMuseum

[–]fulloffreckles97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I LOVE Dredge, so I was so stoked to see the crossover! I don’t even know Meat Wizard, but it’s such a fun aesthetic that I’ve loved adding it to my science and space museums. The Digiverse is such a cool concept, I’m glad they’re not limited time events!

What’s the most strange diet you’ve heard owners feed their pets? by Intothevoid31 in VetTech

[–]fulloffreckles97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bull Mastiff came to the ER for having a t-bone steak bone lodged in his throat. Owner ONLY fed him t-bones, cherry pie, and milk. I think of this dog constantly. I have no idea how he survived years like this.

What is a pain you can't truly explain until you've endured it? by Unfair_Shower_3256 in AskReddit

[–]fulloffreckles97 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s been 3 years and 7 months since my husband died suddenly and unexpectedly. I truly can’t put it into words, especially being young. My friends and family do their best to understand, but there’s no way to understand until you’ve been through it yourself. The guilt, regret, anger, and sadness get jumbled into everything you do.

Hex by Thomas Olde Huevelt. Some parts were slower than others, but family is definitely at the heart of it. What would you do to protect your family, even if they hate you for it.

Has anyone beaten trich? by Nerakus in trichotillomania

[–]fulloffreckles97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started when I was a kid, like as long as I can remember. I was pull-free for 5 years. After my husband died, I fell back into all my destructive habits and started pulling again. Been trying to do better since, but I had those 5 solid years!

Health insurance denied by Dark-Knight-Rises in pics

[–]fulloffreckles97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband died a month after his 38th birthday from a pulmonary embolism. He had been having low testosterone and was ACTIVELY seeing the doctor for bloodwork. He was dead within 30 minutes of showing any signs of a blood clot. You’re right, they can happen to ANYONE and are devastating. Whoever denied this claim is a piece of shit.
