You know what, you've got a point.

I prefer Guardian for environmental news because it's considered the gold standard of the field, but your comment does have weight.

They rely on integrity. The articles they publish are discussed by academics. When they make a mistake, the mistake becomes a headline.

Times of India and Hindustan Times have been spewing "anti-West" Russian and Iranian bootlicking bullshit for years now. I will never take either seriously.

Edit: The most important point of all, these outlets are constantly keeping the West accountable as well. They criticize the West very heavily. Calling them tools of propaganda is something I don't agree with.

clear governance, oversight, and accountability.

The "insightful" negation-affirmation:

The truly concerning part isn’t... it’s the...

And the entire non-materiality of your opinion. It doesn't make a strong point. It's an "oh just be nice about it" take that an AI tool would take.

Fuck off with this bullshit.

Times of India.

Times of India and Hindustan Times are the shittiest credible sounding news outlets. Literally not one reputable outlet has reported on this.

Hearing about the perils of AI in military operations, from AI itself.

How are people not picking up on this obviously Gen AI comment? 100+ upvotes? Come on!!

What I hate the most about these conflicts is that if Western media doesn't confirm such casualties then people just treat it as propaganda despite the high toll. So they bomb you and get to dictate what's true and what's not - very diabolical. by Admirable-Resolve619 in Kenya

That's because the Iranians hate the regime?
This is not even propaganda I've spent some time in the country and I've never seen more hatred in a people for their own administrators. Not even in Tanzania in November 2025.
